Both homes are proudly licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services. Room assignments are made with careful consideration of availability and clinical needs; patients using insurance have the wonderful option to enjoy a private room for their entire stay.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are prepared fresh every day and shared around the table with your housemates. Our team accommodates dietary needs shared during admissions.

Choose a private room for more personal space or a semi-private room for shared support. Both are furnished for genuine rest.

Gym equipment on site makes it easy to build movement into your day, supporting better sleep, mood, and energy as your body heals.

Off-site excursions take you out of the house and into LA, from beach days on the coast to hikes on local trails to movie nights.

Mindfulness and movement practices are part of the weekly schedule, helping you manage stress and cravings without substances.
If you’re struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction or battling a co-occurring disorder, we have the experts to help you on your healing journey.
We proudly use the Stages of Change model as the foundation of our clinical approach, complemented by evidence-based therapies and a supportive relationship with your care team. Instead of a one-size-fits-all program, we customize your plan every week to suit your unique journey.
Our treatment integrates individual therapy, group sessions, psychiatric care, and holistic practices, effectively addressing co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma alongside substance use, fostering your path to recovery and well-being.
CBT helps you spot the thoughts and beliefs that drive substance use and replace them with more accurate, useful ones. You’ll practice concrete skills for handling triggers, cravings and high-risk situations.
DBT builds skills in four areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. It’s especially helpful when intense emotions or relationship conflict have fueled drinking or drug use.
ACT teaches you to make room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of numbing them. From there, you clarify what matters most to you and take steps toward a life built on those values.
Whole-person care enhances your therapy experience! With your plan, you can enjoy activities like yoga, guided meditation, expressive art, exercise, and spiritual growth, all contributing to a vibrant and fulfilling journey.
Everyone’s journey is unique! Our group curriculum blends both 12-step and Refuge Recovery approaches, offering you the perfect opportunities to discover a supportive community that aligns with your values.
Trauma-informed care for veterans, active-duty service members and first responders, with discharge coordination through the VA and veteran-focused partners.
Our twice-monthly family sessions, offered both onsite and virtual, help loved ones understand addiction, rebuild trust and support your recovery at home.
Weekly alumni groups, quarterly outings like surfing and beach cleanups, and a year of free access to the Discovery365™ support app keep you connected after treatment.
